DETENT RELEASE FOR POWER SHIFT TRANSMISSION SELECTOR VALVE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hydraulic detent release for a power shift transmission selector valve which releases the detent with decay of fluid pressure in the valve. The hydraulic detent releases in response to pressure decay in an inch- ing valve which causes the selector valve to return to the low speed position when the inching valve is operated.
