Abstract of the Disclosure The invention is concerned with particulate detergent compositions suitable for fabric washing based on nonionic surfactants. It has been found necessary to include in the spray dried portion of the composition an amino compound such as an alkanolamide in order to reduce autoxidation and pluming. This application describes a detergent containing the combination of an alkanolamide and a monoalkyl phosphate ester to give a low foaming product without encountering problems of autoxidation in the spray drying tower.
