A detergent composition comprising; a) a non-phosphorous based builder which is an amino acid based compound or a succinate based compound, b) one or more enzymes which are destabilised by the non-phosphorous containing builder and c) a stabilisation system for the one or more enzymes. The stabilising system comprising one or more divalent metal ion salts and a non-ionic surfactant. Preferably the builder is the tetrasodium salt of glutamic-N,N-diacetic acid and the enzyme comprises protease. The preferred divalent metal ion salts are calcium salts.

L'invention concerne une composition détergente comprenant : a) un adjuvant sans phosphore constitué d'un composé à base d'acide aminé ou de succinate ; b) une ou plusieurs enzymes qui sont destabilisées par l'adjuvant sans phosphore ; et c) un système de stabilisation de ladite ou desdites enzymes. Le système de stabilisation comprend un ou plusieurs sels d'ions métalliques divalents ainsi qu'un tensioactif non ionique. L'adjuvant est de préférence le sel tétrasodique de l'acide glutamique-N,N-diacétique et l'enzyme comprend une protéase. Les sels d'ions métalliques divalents préférés sont les sels de calcium.
