A detergent composition which comprises (a) at least one surfactant and (B) at least one starch debranching enzyme selected from the group consisting of pullulanase, isopullulanase and isoamylase, is disclosed. The detergent composition of the invention may further contains .alpha.-amylase, as component (c). The detergent composition of the invention shows significantly improved starchy dirt detergency.
