A detergent composition is provided according to the invention. The detergent composition includes a branched alcohol alkoxylate having the formula wherein R1 is a C2-C20 alkyl, R2 is H or a C1-C4 alkyl, n is 2-20, and m is 1-40, and a compatibililizing surfactant. The compatibilizing surfactant can be selected so that an aqueous composition containing 5 wt.% of the branched alcohol alkoxylate and at least 2.5 wt.% of the compatibilizing surfactant provides a clear aqueous composition. A clear aqueous composition refers to an aqueous composition that is free of haze visible to the naked eye. In general, a clear aqueous composition resembles a composition containing only water. A method for using the detergent composition is provided.
La présente invention concerne une préparation détergente. La préparation détergente inclut un alkoxylate d'alcool ramifié de formule dans laquelle R1 représente un groupement alkyle en C2-C20, R2 représente H ou un groupement alkyle en C1-C4, n est compris entre 2 et 20 inclus et m est compris entre 1 et 40 inclus, ainsi qu~un tensioactif facilitant la compatibilité. Ledit tensioactif facilitant la compatibilité peut être sélectionné de façon à ce qu~une préparation aqueuse contenant 5 % en poids de l'alkoxylate d'alcool ramifié et au moins 2,5 % en poids du tensioactif facilitant la compatibilité permette d'obtenir une préparation aqueuse transparente. Le terme préparation aqueuse transparente désigne une préparation aqueuse où aucun trouble n'est visible à l'AEil nu. En général, une préparation aqueuse transparente ressemble à une préparation ne contenant que de l'eau. La présente invention concerne également une méthode d'utilisation de la préparation détergente.
