A B S T R A C T Certain polymers, notably hydroxyethyl and hydroxypropyl celluloses, hydroxypropyl guars, xanthan gums, and certain acrylic polymers, enhance the foam stability of liquid detergents based on dialkyl sulphosuccinates while simultaneously providing increased viscosity.
