Detergent compositions, essentially free of peroxygen or chlorine bleach compounds, containing a surfactant, builder, enzyme and from about 0.001 % to about 5 % by weight polyethyleneimine (PEI) or salts thereof are disclosed. These compositions provide enhanced removal of organic stains, particularly on polyphenolic stains such as morello juice (cherry juice), blueberry juice, red wine, tea and coffee. Improvement was also demonstrated on certain non- polyphenolic stains such as grass.

L'invention se rapporte à des compositions détergentes sensiblement exemptes de composés de blanchiment au peroxygène ou au chlore et renfermant un tensioactif, un adjuvant pour détergents, une enzyme et entre environ 0,001 % et environ 5 % en poids de polyéthylèneimine (PEI) ou de sels de PEI. Ces compositions permettent de mieux faire disparaître des taches organiques, en particulier des taches polyphénoliques telles que le jus de griotte (jus de cerise), le jus de myrtille, le vin rouge, le thé et le café. Cette amélioration a également été prouvée en ce qui concerne certaines taches non polyphénoliques telles que celles de gazon.
