There is provided a detergent composition in compacted solid form containing: (a) an organo diphosphonate crystal growth inhibitor; and (b) an alkalinity system comprising alkaline salts selected from the group consisting of alkali and alkaline earth carbonates, bicarbonates, hydroxides and silicates, wherein at least part of the alkalinity system comprises particulate alkaline salts coated with an organic binder and the weight ratio of organic binder to alkalinity system in the detergent composition is from 1:100 to 1:1. A making process is also provided.

L'invention se rapporte à une composition détergente se présentant sous forme solide compacte et renfermant: (a) un inhibiteur de croissance de cristaux organo diphosphonate; et (b) un système d'alcanilité comprenant des sels alcalins sélectionnés dans le groupe constitué par des carbonates, bicarbonates, hydroxydes et silicates alcalins et alcalino-terreux, composition dans laquelle au moins une partie du système d'alcanilité comprend des sels alcalins particulaires revêtus d'un liant organique, le rapport pondéral du liant organique au système d'alcanilité de la composition détergente étant compris entre 1:100 et 1:1. Un procédé de fabrication est également décrit.
