The present invention provides a detergent composition dis- pensing device. The device is removably insertable into a washing machine. The device comprises a chamber to accommodate a detergent composition, a detection means to detect the presence of water / wash liquor in the machine and a pumping means to pump the detergent composition from the chamber out of the device. The pumping means is influenced by an output signal from the detection means, characterised in that the detection means has an associated algorithm such that water is not deemed to have been detected until water/ wash liquor has been detected as being present over a cer- tain portion of a per-determined time interval in a wash cycle.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de distribution de détergent. Le dispositif est insérable de manière amovible dans une machine à laver. Le dispositif comprend une chambre destinée à recevoir une composition de détergent, un moyen de détection pour détecter la présence d'eau/de liqueur de lavage dans la machine et un moyen de pompage pour pomper la composition de détergent à partir de la chambre hors du dispositif. Le moyen de pompage est influencé par un signal de sortie provenant du moyen de détection, caractérise en ce que le moyen de détection possède un algorithme associé de sorte que l'eau ne soit pas considérée comme ayant été détectée jusqu'à ce que l'eau/la liqueur de lavage ait été détectée comme étant présente pendant une certaine partie d'un intervalle de temps prédéterminé dans un cycle de lavage.
