DETERGENT GRANULES FROM COLD DOUGH USING FINE DISPERSION GRANULATION ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to an energy saving process for preparing condensed detergent granules. Dry detergent builders and a high active surfactant paste are finely dispersed into a uniform dough. The dough is chilled and granulated using fine dispersion mixing to surprisingly provide discrete, uniform (300-1200 micron) free flowing, granular particles. The granules of the present invention are preferably formulated to be fully formulated.
