ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The mushing of toilet tablets containing about 30% to about 70% by weight of acyl isethionates as the detergent active is reduced by addition of alkane sulphonates having from 12 to 14 carbon atoms. The presence of these alkane sulphonates improve the lather characteristics when chlorides and sulphates are present in the tablet.
