A detergent tablet is disclosed which comprises at least 50 wt% of a non-phosphate builder and from 0 to 20 wt% of a phosphate builder, and has incorporated therein as binder from 0.3 to 5 wt% of a neutralised polymer of hydrophilic or hydrophobic monomers which have a glass transition temperature (Tg) of from 40 to 120°C, which monomers comprise(meth)acrylic acid, maleic anhydride, hydroxyalkyl(meth)acrylic acids, alkyl (meth)acrylates, alkylhydroxy (meth)acrylates, alkyl (meth)acrylic acids or styrene, the polymer having a weight average molecular weight of from 10,000 to 120,000. The tablet has improved physical properties compared with those of the prior art.

Un comprimé de détergent comprenant au moins 50 % par masse atomique d'agent adjuvant sans phosphate et de 0 à 20 % par masse atomique d'agent phosphate adjuvant, dans lequel est incorporé un agent liant de 0,3 à 5 % par masse atomique d'un polymère neutre composé de monomères hydrophiles ou hydrophobes dont la température de transition vitreuse (Tg) est de 40 à 120 degrés C. Les monomères sont composés d'acide méthacrylique, d'anhydride malique, d'acides méthacryliques hydroxyalkyles, de méthacrylates d'alkyle, de méthacrylates d'hydroxyalkyle, d'acides méthacryliques d'alkyle, ou de styrolène. Le polymère a un poids moléculaire moyen de 10 000 à 120 000. Le comprimé possède des propriétés physiques améliorées comparativement à celles des comprimés formés à l'aide de la méthode antérieure.
