ABSTRACT A method of simultaneously determining some or all lactate dehydro- genase isoenzymes, more particularly isoenzymes 4 or 5 alone or mixed with one another or with other LDK-isoenzyme(s), by converting lactate and nicot- inamide-adenine-dinucleotide to pyruvate, in which the conversion is brought about at a pH which is specific to the buffer.
