The present invention addresses the possibility of a race condition that arises due to lack of a communication mechanism between the UE (31) and the GGSN (34), saving unnecessary consumption of radio resources and reducing chances of collisions within the network. Also, the invention prevents the possibility that neither the UE (31) nor GGSN (34) respond appropriately to the Resource Reservation Protocol (RSVP) requirements by halting transmission of any RSVP path/refreshment messages to the IP network in order to refresh/maintain the reservation states due lack of clear assignment of responsability. This lack of clear understanding between the UE (31) and the GGSN (34) may result in the expiration of the IP network resource reservations made earlier for media streams. This scenario can occur with a higher probability in the absence of this dialog.
La présente invention se rapporte à l'éventualité d'une situation d'emballement qui peut avoir lieu suite à l'absence d'un mécanisme de communication entre UE (31) et GGSN (34), ce qui permet d'éviter la consommation inutile des ressources radio et réduire le risque de collisions à l'intérieur du réseau. De plus, l'invention permet d'éviter la situation dans laquelle ni UE (31) ni GGSN (34) ne peuvent répondre de façon appropriée aux exigences du protocole de réservation de ressources (RSVP) par l'arrêt des transmissions de tous messages voie / rafraîchissement RSVP au réseau IP, qui visent à rafraîchir / maintenir les états de réservation en raison de l'absence d'une attribution claire des responsabilités. Ce manque de compréhension entre UE (31) et GGSN (34) peut provoquer l'expiration des réservations des ressources du réseau IP, faites antérieurement pour les flux de médias. En absence de ce dialogue, les risques d'une telle situation augmentent.
