The invention concerns a device and a method for determining the image of a user's (2) nasal and/or oral respiratory flow, to whom a breathing mixture is administered at least at a pressure level by means of a turbine (6) powered by a motor, which consists in continuously measuring the current consumed by the turbine motor and deducing therefrom a consumed current signal, in processing the consumed current signal and determining an image of the user's nasal and/or oral respiratory flow on the basis of the processed current signal.
