DEVELOPER ASSEMBLY SUPPORT Abstract of the Disclosure This invention pertains to means for achieving a uniform development zone between a liquid development applicator and a charged photoreceptor. A liquid develop- ment assembly includes an applicator roll movable into and out of contact with a photoreceptor. The assembly is sup- ported by a plurality of arms that move in a plane perpen- dicular to the photoreceptor at its area of contact with the applicator roll. In this manner a uniform nip width is achieved between the applicator and photoreceptor across the width of contact regardless of variances in ovality, eccen- tricity or misalignment.
