There is described an air amplifying system (1) comprising an amplifying fluid jet (3) provided with a fluid inlet (4) and a fluid outlet (5), the fluid outlet being linked to an outlet nozzle (6) via an amplifying passage (7), the amplifying passage also being linked to a powder chamber (8), said chamber being adapted for non-laminar powder flow, such that fluid travelling from the fluid outlet of the jet draws extraneous air and aerosolised powder through the powder chamber so that the extraneous air and aerosolised powder mix with the amplifying fluid in the amplifying passage and the amplified mixture exits through the outlet nozzle. There is also described a powder delivery device comprising such an air amplifying system and a method of treatment related thereto.
L'invention concerne un système d'amplification de volume d'air faisant intervenir un jet de fluide d'amplification muni d'une entrée de fluide et d'une sortie de fluide, cette sortie de fluide étant reliée à une buse de sortie par l'intermédiaire d'un passage d'amplification, lequel est également relié à une chambre à poudre destinée à un flux de poudre non laminaire. Ainsi, le fluide se déplaçant entre la sortie de fluide du jet entraîne de l'air extérieur et de la poudre en aérosol par l'intermédiaire de la chambre à poudre, d'où le mélange de cet air étranger et de cette poudre en aérosol avec le fluide d'amplification dans le passage d'amplification, le mélange amplifié sortant alors par l'intermédiaire de la buse de sortie. L'invention concerne également un dispositif de distribution de poudre comprenant ce système d'amplification de volume d'air, ainsi qu'un procédé de traitement associé.
