The device comprises a stent (1) and a separating means (11), the stent (1) having a number of areas of separation (8) and the separating means (11) being able to be introduced through the wall of the stent (1) at an area of separation (8). According to embodiments of the invention, - each area of separation (8) has a number of separable junctions (6); - the activation of the separating means (11) separates at least one of the separable junctions (6) of said area of separation (8) so as to separate the stent (1) into two stent sections (1a, 1b) at the area of the bifurcation (100) and to allow the stent sections (1a, 1b) to further expand to respectively conform to a shape of the main conduit (102) and to a shape of the secondary conduit (103) at the area of the bifurcation (103).

Le dispositif selon l'invention comprend une endoprothèse (1) et un moyen de séparation (11), ladite endoprothèse (1) présentant un certain nombre de zones de séparation et le moyen de séparation (11) pouvant pénétrer par la paroi de l'endoprothèse (1) au niveau d'une zone de séparation (8). Selon des modes de réalisation, chaque zone de séparation (8) possède plusieurs jonctions séparables (6), l'activation du moyen de séparation (11) permet de séparer au moins une jonction séparable (6) de ladite zone de séparation de façon à séparer l'endoprothèse (1) en deux sections d'endoprothèse (1a, 1b) au niveau de la zone de bifurcation (100),ces deux sections pouvant ainsi se dilater de manière à épouser une forme du conduit principal (102) et celle du conduit secondaire (103) au niveau de la zone de bifurcation (100).
