The invention relates to devices and methods for chemical analysis, specifically to devices for extracting molecules, e.g. biomolecules such as peptides, and/or proteins, from a mixture of molecules in a solution and performing sample treatment on the extracted molecules before presenting them to an analysis instrument. The method for analysis of samples uses a combined sample treatment and sample carrier device. Said device comprises a plate with inlets at one side connected to respective compartments situated at respective array positions for receiving samples to be treated and analysed, each compartment being in communication with an outlet enabling fluid flow through the plate. The method comprises the steps of supplying an external container with a sample; optionally, subjecting the sample to a first treatment in the external container; transferring the sample to the combined sample treatment and sample carrier device; and subjecting the sample to a second treatment exploiting fluid flow through the device, wherein a medium is trapped in the device.
L'invention porte sur des dispositifs et des procédés d'analyse chimique, notamment des dispositifs d'extraction de molécules, par exemple des biomolécules, à savoir des peptides et/ou des protéines à partir d'un mélange de molécules dans une solution et de traitement d'échantillon sur les molécules extraites avant de les présenter à un instrument d'analyse. Le procédé d'analyse d'échantillons utilise un traitement d'échantillon combiné et un dispositif de support d'échantillon. Ce dispositif comprend une plaque présentant des entrées sur un côté reliées à des compartiments respectifs situés à des emplacements de réseau respectifs afin de recevoir des échantillons à traiter et à analyser, chaque compartiment étant en communication avec une sortie permettant l'écoulement d'un fluide à travers la plaque. Le procédé consiste à doter un conteneur externe d'un échantillon ; éventuellement, soumettre l'échantillon à un premier traitement dans le conteneur externe ; transférer l'échantillon vers le dispositif de traitement d'échantillon combiné et de support d'échantillon ; et à soumettre l'échantillon à un second traitement tirant profit de l'écoulement de fluide à travers le dispositif, un milieu étant piégé dans le dispositif.
