The invention relates to a device and a method for correcting a flexible material web (1) which is guided to a processing machine, the lower side of the material web incorrectly facing upwards. Said error is the result of a twist or two ends of a material web which are incorrectly connected. In order to correct the error, the material web (1) is rotated at least once about its longitudinal axis, in such a way that the lower side thereof returns to its correct downward-facing position and the correct upper side of the material web reaches the processing machine. The aim of the invention is to be able to correct a flexible material web which is guided in a faulty manner to a processing machine, to avoid the creation of waste on the half-finished product, and to avoid downtime of the processing machine. To this end, a rotatable pair of cylinders (2) is provided, said pair of cylinders causing a correcting rotation of the material web (1) about its longitudinal axis in such a way that the lower side of the material web returns to its correct downward-facing position.
L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé servant à rectifier une bande de matière souple (1) qui est conduite vers la machine de traitement et dont la face inférieure est orientée de manière incorrecte vers le haut. Cette erreur est due à une torsion ou au raccord incorrect de deux extrémités de bande de matière. On effectue pour la rectification au moins une rotation de la bande de matière (1) autour de son axe longitudinal afin que la face inférieure de la bande de matière soit à nouveau orientée vers le bas de manière correcte et que la véritable face supérieure de la bande de matière parvienne à la machine de traitement. L'invention vise à rectifier la bande de matière souple conduite de manière incorrecte à la machine de traitement et à réduire l'apparition de déchets en matière semi-finie ainsi que des périodes d'arrêt de la machine de traitement. A cet effet, une paire de cylindres rotative (2) exécute une rotation correctrice de la bande de matière (1) autour de l'axe longitudinal de cette dernière de sorte que la face inférieure de la bande de matière est à nouveau orientée de manière correcte vers le bas.
