The invention relates to the medical technique, more especially to the metabolic measurement mainly on diabetics in connection with the insulin injection. The problem of an imminent lack of vacuum inside of a suction cup during the period of the glucose measure- ment over a measuring probe or sensor introduced through a cannula under the skin is solved by a spring biased squeezing of the skin by means of slid- ing sheets or plates close under the suction cup rim -if such a suction cup is used- and a similar pinching device. Simultaneously the fluid or glucose (but eventually acetone etc.) uptake of a depressed sensor through the cannula is promoted by the appoach of the skin folds. Additionally the cannula tip is picked into the skin fold nearly horizontally along the broadside of the housing of the apparatus adjacent and pressed to the body of the user, an arrangement which faci- litates the automatization of the device in conserving a flat design of the device. Special qualities of the sensor creation and automati- zation and improvements of the programming of the injection are also objects of this invention.
