A device and method for generating a representation of a subject's attention level. The device comprises means for measuring brain signals from the subject; means for extracting temporal features from the brain signals; means for classifying the extracted temporal features using a classifier to give a score x1; means for extracting spectral-spatial features from the brain signals; means for selecting spectral-spatial features containing discriminative information between concentration and non-concentration states from the set of extracted spectral-spatial features; means for classifying the selected spectral-spatial features using a classifier to give a score x2; means for combining the scores x1 and x2 to give a single score; and means for presenting said score to the subject.
Cette invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé permettant de générer une représentation du degré d'attention d'un sujet. Le dispositif comprend un moyen qui mesure les signaux cérébraux du sujet; un moyen qui extrait les caractéristiques temporelles à partir des signaux cérébraux; un moyen qui classe les caractéristiques temporelles extraites à l'aide d'un classificateur pour obtenir un résultat x1; un moyen qui extrait les caractéristiques spectro-spatiales à partir des signaux cérébraux; un moyen qui sélectionne les caractéristiques spectro-spatiales contenant des données discriminant des états de concentration et d'absence de concentration d'après un groupe de caractéristiques spectro-spatiales extraites; un moyen qui classe les caractéristiques spectro-spatiales sélectionnées à l'aide d'un classificateur pour obtenir un résultat x2 ; un moyen qui combine les scores x1 et x2 pour obtenir un résultat unique; et un moyen qui présente ledit résultat au sujet.
