The invention relates to a beam inspection device, consisting of: an inspection head (110) comprising a scintillator (114) and at least one diffuser unit (116, 117) which is associated with said scintillator, and a first means (118) of forming at least one image of at least one part of the inspection head comprising the scintillator. According to the invention, the scintillator comprises at least one essentially-uniform, solid sheet of scintillation material with two main opposing faces. The invention is suitable for use in radiotherapy.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'inspection d'un faisceau avec: une tête d'inspection (110) comprenant un scintillateur (114) et au moins un bloc diffuseur (116, 117) associé au scintillateur, un premier moyen (118) de formation d'au moins une image d'au moins une partie de la tête d'inspection comprenant le scintillateur. Conformément à l'invention, le scintillateur comporte au moins une plaque massive et sensiblement homogène de matériau de scintillation présentant deux faces principales opposées. Application à la radiothérapie.
