The invention relates to a device for locating seats and advertising brands or items on seats in enclosed spaces, in particular enclosures such as theatres, cinemas, auditoriums, restaurants, night-clubs or similar interior spaces. The inventive device consists of an element which comprises a photoluminescent means on one portion of the surface thereof and which is intended to be disposed on the headrest or any other part of the surface of a seat in an enclosure. In various embodiments of the invention, the aforementioned element comprises a cover, a cushion, a patch, a label, or a fabric print or similar. The invention also relates to a method of locating seats and advertising brands or items on seats in enclosed spaces. The inventive method comprises the following steps consisting in: placing the above-mentioned device directly on the headrest or any other part of the surface of a seat in an enclosed space; exposing the device to ambient light for a pre-determined period of time; and turning off the ambient light, the photoluminiscent part of the device and/or seat being covered by the spectator sitting thereon. In this way, a spectator entering the enclosed space can easily see any unoccupied seats or the advertising for brands or items on said unoccupied seats, using the visual indication of the occupancy or non-occupancy of the seat or the glow from the brand or item by means of the photoluminescent means comprising a distinctive sign, brand or symbol on the headrest or any other part of the surface of the seat.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de localisation de fauteuils et de publicité de marques et d'articles sur des fauteuils d'intérieur, en particulier dans des espaces fermés tels que des salles de spectacles, des cinémas, des auditoriums, des restaurants, des discothèques, ou autres espaces fermés de ce type. Ce dispositif comprend un élément pourvu d'un moyen photoluminescent situé sur une partie de la surface de l'élément, et destiné à être positionné sur un appuie-tête ou n'importe quelle autre partie de la surface d'un fauteuil dans un espace fermé. Dans différents modes de réalisation de l'invention, l'élément comprend une housse, un coussin, un autocollant, une étiquette, ou un imprimé sur toile, ou autre. L'invention concerne également un procédé de localisation de fauteuils et de publicité de marques ou d'articles dans des espaces fermés, consistant à placer ledit dispositif directement sur l'appuie-tête ou n'importe quelle autre partie de la surface d'un fauteuil dans un espace fermé; à exposer ledit dispositif à la lumière ambiante pendant une durée prédéterminée; et à éteindre la lumière ambiante, les spectateurs cachant la partie photoluminescente du dispositif et/ou du fauteuil, permettant ainsi à un spectateur entrant dans l'espace fermé de visualiser facilement les endroits non occupés, ou la publicité de marques ou d'articles dans les fauteuils non occupés, grâce à un indicateur visuel d'occupation ou non du fauteuil, ou grâce à la brillance de la marque ou de l'article à l'aide du moyen photoluminescent du signal, de la marque ou du signal distinctif sur l'appuie-tête ou une quelconque autre partie de la surface du fauteuil.
