A method for detecting the extent of cross-linking of a high impedance material during a shelf life, slow state transition or during use, the method including: applying (20) a test signal ((Vappl) through a sensor (21) to the material and through a reference material (22); determining (34) a voltage difference between the test signal (Vappl) applied to the material and the reference material as reference voltage; and correlating the voltage difference as a relative indicator of the extent of chemical change which has occurred within the material. Also disclosed is a device for implementing the subject method.
Procédé de détection du degré de réticulation d'un matériau à forte impédance pendant le stockage, une lente transition d'état ou au moment de l'utilisation. Ce procédé consiste à appliquer (20) au matériau un signal de test (Vappl) par l'intermédiaire d'un capteur (21), un signal identique étant appliqué à un matériau de référence (22); à déterminer (34) une différence de tension entre le signal de test (Vappl) appliqué au matériau et le matériau de référence fournissant une tension de référence; et à établir une corrélation entre la différence de tension et le degré de modification chimique s'étant produite à l'intérieur du matériau. On décrit également un dispositif permettant la mise en oeuvre dudit procédé.
