The invention concerns a device for measuring the flow rate of drill cuttings brought up to the surface by means of a drilling fluid, comprising means for collecting the cuttings and means for continuously weighing the collected cuttings. The means for collecting the cuttings comprise a container in the shape of a bucket (16) articulated on a shaft and means for tipping (20) the container so as to empty the bucket. The measuring means comprise a measuring cell (24) connected to the tilting means for measuring a load proportional to the weight of the collected cuttings. The invention also concerns a method for measuring drill cuttings.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de mesure du débit de déblais d'un forage remontés à la surface par l'intermédiaire d'un fluide de forage. Le dispositif comporte des moyens pour recueillir les déblais et des moyens de mesure en continu du poids des déblais recueillis. Les moyens pour recueillir les déblais comportent un réceptacle en forme de godet (16) articulé sur un axe et des moyens de basculement (20) du réceptacle de façon à vidanger le godet. Les moyens de mesure comportent une cellule de mesure (24) liée aux moyens de basculement pour mesurer une contrainte proportionnelle au poids des déblais recueillis. L'invention concerne également une méthode pour l'application d'une mesure du débit de déblais d'un forage.
