The hydraulic binder and mineral materials are entrained by a helical element up to a mixing location and thereafter distributed in a pipe. The hydraulic binder and mineral materials are formed of a granular and of a pulverulent material fed by means of metering units into a tubular element surrounding the helical element, which in turn surrounds a tubular element for supplying a liquid. The invention is useful for coating a pipe with a composition, in particular a cement mortar.
