A device and method for performing spectral measurements in flow cells with spatial resolution using a variable transmission optical filter having at least two areas with different optical properties. Light from a light source passes through the variable transmission filter to a flow cell containing a sample to be analyzed. The resultant light pattern is sensed by a detecting means, which analyzes the spectral properties of the sample within the flow cell.

Dispositif et procédé servant à effectuer des mesures spectrales dans des cuves à circulation avec résolution spatiale au moyen d'un filtre optique à transmission variable possédant au moins deux zones présentant des propriétés optiques différentes. La lumière provenant d'une source de lumière passe à travers le filtre à transmission variable afin d'atteindre une cuve à circulation contenant un spécimen à analyser. La configuration lumineuse obtenue est détectée par des moyens de détection qui analysent les propriétés spectrales du spécimen contenu dans la cuve à circulation.
