A device (1) for conveying objects (2) having at least one open end (200) (for example plastic bottles and corresponding semi-finished products throughout their production process), comprising picking-up means (20) suitable for gripping and withholding the object from inside the open end (200), and further comprising a protective sliding sleeve (7, 70) suitable for covering and protecting a pre-determined portion of the object (2) in the proximity of the open end (200) is characterised in that the actuation for picking up or releasing the object (2) by the picking-up and withholding means (20) is independent of the movements of sliding of the sleeve (7, 70), which can be raised or lowered, the object (2) at the same time continuing to be firmly gripped. The device is suitable to be used on a chain conveyor. Also described herein is a method for the use of said device (1).
L'invention concerne un dispositif (1) de transport d'objets (2) possédant au moins une extrémité ouverte (200) (par exemple des bouteilles en plastique et les produits semi-finis correspondants tout au long de leur processus de fabrication), équipé d'organes (20) de saisie adaptés pour saisir et retenir l'objet de l'intérieur de l'extrémité ouverte (200), et comprenant également un manchon coulissant (7, 70) de protection adapté pour recouvrir et protéger une partie prédéterminée de l'objet (2) à proximité de l'extrémité ouverte (200), se caractérisant en ce que la commande de saisie ou de libération de l'objet (2) par les organes (20) de saisie et de retenue s'effectue indépendamment des mouvements de glissement du manchon (7, 70), qui peut être élevé ou rabaissé, l'objet (2) étant toujours en même temps fermement saisi. Le dispositif est adapté pour être utilisé sur un transporteur à chaîne. L'invention concerne également un procédé d'utilisation dudit dispositif (1).
