The invention relates to a device for producing a syringe for medical purposes, said syringe comprising a glass syringe body and a cannula. The inventive device is characterised by a laser beam producing device (3) having a laser resonator (5) for producing a laser beam (9), by a beam formation and/or guiding device (7), and by a receiving device (17) for holding and positioning the syringe body (13).
