Device (1) for radio programming wireless terminal devices (2-5), which have a unique radio identification (11) and an optical or acoustic signal device (13, 14), with a transceiver (9) for radio communication (10) with the terminal devices (2-5) and a control device (8) connected to the transceiver (9), which is configured for radio programming a terminal device (2) with a predetermined radio identification (11) via the radio transceiver (9), wherein the control device (8) is connected with at least one optical or acoustic signal detector (17, 18) and is configured for transmitting a request for emission of an optical or acoustic signal (15, 16) to a terminal device (2) with a predetermined radio identification (11) via the transceiver (9) and then radio programming this terminal device (2) only when the signal detector (15, 16) detects an optical or acoustic signal (15, 16).
