DEVICE AND METHOD FOR RELEASE OF LABELS FROM LABEL TRANSFER WHEELS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Release agents and applicator devices therefor are described for heat transfer wheels which deposit address- bearing labels onto articles being labeled. The release agent applied to the heated surface of the wheel prevents the offset of the printed matter on the wheel surface. Exemplary of the release agents are the mercapto-functional polysiloxanes.
