The invention concerns a device (2) for safe transport of an object (3) characterised in that it comprises: (a) means (4, 6) for containing an object (3) to be transported, or container, and closure means (6, 8, 10, 14) for closing said object-containing means (4, 6) or said container; (b) communicating means (16, 18) for connecting the object-containing means or container, to a communication network and for sending, over said communication network, a signal concerning a state of the object-containing means or container; (c) reception means (16, 18) for receiving a signal for opening the means closing the object-containing means.
