An apparatus for sealing and illuminating a balloon includes a housing for sealing insertion into a neck of a balloon. A flow path within the housing conducts an inflation gas from an inlet to an outlet of the housing, and a flow control system disposed in the flow path allows the inflation gas to flow from the inlet to the outlet. The apparatus includes a light source mounted in conjunction with the housing and a power source disposed within the housing providing power for the light source. A switch mounted in conjunction with the housing is operable to selectively connect the power source to the light source by completing a circuit between power source and the light source. The apparatus also includes a switch activating member annularly disposable around the housing to operate the switch.
La présente invention a trait à un appareil pour l'étanchéification et l'éclairage d'un ballon comportant un boîtier pour une insertion étanche dans le col d'un ballon. Un trajet de circulation au sein du boîtier entraîne un gaz de gonflage depuis un orifice d'entrée jusqu'à un orifice de sortie du boîtier, et un système de contrôle de débit disposé dans le trajet de circulation permet l'écoulement du gaz de gonflage depuis l'orifice d'entrée jusqu'à l'orifice de sortie. L'appareil comporte une source lumineuse montée conjointement avec le boîtier et une source d'alimentation disposée au sein du boîtier fournissant de l'énergie pour la source lumineuse. Un commutateur monté conjointement avec le boîtier est opérable pour la connexion sélective de la source d'alimentation à la source lumineuse par la réalisation complète d'un circuit entre la source d'alimentation et la source lumineuse. L'appareil comporte également un organe d'activation de commutateur apte à être disposé en anneau autour du boîtier pour faire fonctionner le commutateur.
