The invention relates to a method and a device for separating adjacent threads which are stretched in a first and a second location and substantially form together a surface. In order to provide a method and a device serving to reliably separate threads from a yarn layer even when the threads consist of so-called untwisted multifilaments, several threads are grasped with separating means (5, 15, 25, 35) at least in one location, whereupon the grasped threads are subjected to different relative accelerations substantially in their transversal direction. After one or several separation processes, the first thread can be easily grasped, e.g. by a drawing-in hook and then removed from the layer.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif permettant de séparer des fils s'étendant les uns à côté des autres, qui sont tendus entre un premier point et un second point et forment ensemble sensiblement une surface. L'objectif de l'invention est de créer un procédé et un dispositif qui permettent d'effectuer de façon plus sûre la séparation de fils à partir d'une couche de fils, et ce également lorsque les fils sont constitués de ce que l'on appelle des multifilaments non tordus. A cet effet, plusieurs fils sont saisis avec un moyen de séparation (5, 15, 25, 35), respectivement en au moins un point, des accélérations relatives différentes étant provoquées dans les fils saisis sensiblement dans leur sens transversal. Après un processus de séparation unique ou répété, le premier fil peut être facilement saisi, par exemple par une passette, et retiré de la couche.
