Disclosed is a device (10) for eliminating magnetic or magnetizable particles from a liquid with the aid of a magnetic field. Said device (10) comprises a top piece (3) encompassing one or several magnetizable rods (4) which is/are connected in a fixed or removable manner to the top piece (3), and one or several permanent magnets (1) whose position relative to the top piece can be modified by means of a predetermined movement of the magnet/s or/and by means of a predetermined movement of the top piece.
