A device (11) for facilitating tracheotomy. The device comprises a first branch (92), which is adapted to be introduced down the trachea of a patient, such that the end thereof is located below the larynx, and a second branch (114), adapted to be arranged on the outside of the neck with the end thereof located adjacent to the site intended for the tracheostoma. The end f the second branch comprises a guiding tube for a needle, and the end of the first branch comprises a protection plate. When the needle is moved towards the skin through the guiding tube and penetrates the skin and tracheal wall in order to provide said tracheostoma, the needle is directed towards the protection plate, and may engage it after passage through the tracheal wall. In such a manner the other side of the tracheal wall is protected. Furthermore, the tracheostoma will automatically be located at the best position.
La présente invention se rapporte à un dispositif (11) destiné à faciliter la trachéotomie. Le dispositif comprend une première branche (92), adaptée pour être introduite dans la trachée d~un patient, de telle façon que son extrémité est située sous le larynx, et une seconde branche (114), adaptée pour être disposée sur l~extérieur du cou, ayant son extrémité située de façon adjacente à l~emplacement où est prévue la trachéotomie. L~extrémité de la seconde branche comprend un tube de guidage pour une aiguille, et l~extrémité de la première blanche comprend une plaque de protection. Lorsque l~aiguille est déplacée vers la peau à travers le tube de guidage, pénètre la peau et la paroi trachéale, afin d~effectuer la dite trachéotomie, l~aiguille est dirigée vers la plaque de protection, et peut l~activer après le passage à travers la paroi trachéale. En procédant ainsi, l~autre côté de la paroi trachéale est protégé. En outre, la trachéotomie sera automatiquement placée dans la meilleure position.
