A device for treatment of mitral annulus dilatation comprises an elongate body (8) having two states. In a first of these states the elon-gate body (8) is insertable into the coronary sinus (5) and has a shape adapting to the shape of the coronary sinus (5). When positioned in the coro-nary sinus (5), the elongate body (8) is transferable to the second state assuming a reduced radius of curvature, whereby the radius of curvature of the coronary sinus (5) and the radius of curvature as well as the circumference of the mitral annulus (6) is reduced.

L'invention porte sur un dispositif de traitement de la dilatation de l'anneau mitral comportant un corps allongé (8) pouvant prendre deux états. Dans un premier état, le corps allongé (8) peut s'insérer dans le sinus coronaire (5), sa forme étant adaptée à celle dudit sinus (5). Une fois en place dans le sinus (5) le corps allongé (8) peut passer dans un deuxième état où il prend un rayon de courbure réduit, d'où s'ensuivent la réduction du rayon de courbure du sinus coronaire (5), et celle du rayon de la circonférence de l'anneau mitral (6).
