The invention concerns an ultrasonic device (100) for sealing at least two superimposed sheets (1, 2), said device comprising a sealing assembly consisting of two elements which are respectively and anvil (102) and a sonotrode (101), arranged opposite each other so that their facing surfaces (101', 102') form an interstice (103) for passing through the sheets to be sealed, said interstice having an input section (104) and an output section (105), the sonotrode vibrating at high frequencies to emit ultrasonic waves. The invention is characterised in that means are provided for generating between the superimposed sheets and said sealing assembly a relative movement along a specific feeding direction (F) relative to the sealing assembly, and the section of said passage interstice decreases between its input section and its output section, and at least one element of said sealing assembly comprises a projecting ridge emerging into said passage interstice and extending along a direction globally parallel to said feeding direction (F). The invention also concerns a related method for sealing flexible packages, and the resulting packages.
L'invention concerne un dispositif (100) de soudage par ultrasons d'au moins deux feuilles superposées (1, 2), le dispositif comprenant un ensemble de soudage formé de deux éléments qui sont respectivement une enclume (102) et une sonotrode (101), disposées en regard l'une de l'autre de sorte que leurs surfaces en regard (101', 102') forment un interstice (103) de passage des feuilles à souder, ledit interstice ayant une section d'entrée (104) et une section de sortie (105), la sonotrode vibrant à hautes fréquences pour émettre des ondes ultrasonores, caractérisé en ce qu'il est prévu des moyens pour créer entre, d'une part, les feuilles superposées et, d' autre part, ledit ensemble de soudage, un mouvement relatif selon une direction (F) de défilement déterminée par rapport à l'ensemble de soudage, en ce que la section dudit interstice de passage diminue entre sa section d'entrée et sa section de sortie, et au moins un élément dudit ensemble de soudage comporte une arête saillante débouchang dans ledit interstice de passage et s'étendant selon une direction généralement parallèle à ladite direction de défilement (F). L'invention concerne également un procédé associé de soudage d'emballages souples, et les emballages obtenus par un tel procédé.
