The tube changing device comprises a frame (16) mounted on the distributor (2), refractory parts (10, 18, 22) which delimit a casting channel, said refractory parts comprising at least a fixed plate (18) and a tube (22) comprising a plate (24) at its upper portion, pressurizing means (36) for applying the plate (24) of the tube (22) against the fixed plate (18), a position for introducing a new tube (22a), a casting position and a position for evacuating the used tube (22b), guarding means (18, 48) for passing the new tube (22a) from the introduction position to the casting position and for passing the used tube (22b) from the casting position to the evacuation position, actuation means (34, 36) for passing the new tube from the introduction position to the casting position and the used tube from the casting position to the evacuation position. The introduction position, the casting position and the evacuation position are arranged around a cylindrical convex surface (18) forming the contour of the fixed plate.
Un dispositif de changement de tube comprend un châssis (16) monté sur le répartiteur (2), des pièces réfractaires (10, 18, 22) qui délimitent un chenal de coulée, ces pièces réfractaires comprenant au moins une plaque fixe (18) et un tube (22) comportant une plaque (24) à sa partie supérieure, des moyens (36) de mise en pression pour appliquer la plaque (24) du tube (22) contre la plaque fixe (18), une position d'introduction d'un tube neuf (22a), une position de coulée et une position d'évacuation d'un tube usagé (22b), des moyens de guidage (18, 48) permettant au tube neuf (22a) de passer de la position d'introduction à la position de coulée et au tube usagé (22) de passer de la position coulée à la position d'évacuation, des moyens d'actionnement (34, 36) pour faire passer le tube neuf de la position d'introduction à la position de coulée et le tube usagé de la position de coulée à la position d'évacuation. La position d'introduction, la position de coulée et la position d'évacuation sont disposées autour d'une surface cylindrique convexe (18) constituant le pourtour de la plaque fixe.
