A method for thermally destroying at least one liquid, powder or gaseous organic or organohalogen material. The method comprises the steps of mixing said organic material with water; a first step of thermally destroying said gases in which a breakdown into atomic elements has been induced, which step is performed in a reaction chamber; a second step of thermally destroying the gases from the first destruction step, which step is performed in a mixing device with no added energy, but with added air and/or oxygen; recombining at least part of the gases from the mixing device by cooling same; and discharging the destroyed gases.
L'invention concerne un procédé de destruction thermique d'au moins un produit organique ou organo-halogèné liquide, gazeux ou pulvérulent, comprenant - le mélange - dudit produit organique ou organo-halogèné avec de l'eau - une première opération de destruction thermique desdits gaz dans lesquels une décomposition en éléments atomiques a été induite, ladite opération se déroulant dans une chambre de réaction, - une deuxième opération de destruction thermique des gaz ayant subis la première opération de destruction, dans un dispositif de brassage sans apport d'énergie, mais avec apport d'air et/ou de d'oxygène, - recombinaison par refroidissement d'au moins une partie des gaz issus du dispositif de brassage, - rejet des gaz détruits.
