The device is used to granulate plastics, especially thermoplastics. It is provided with a blade impeller, which is located in a granulating hood through which liquid flows. The blade impeller is designed as a conveyor device for the flowing liquid. During execution of the granulation process the liquid flow is, at the latest after a start phase, at least mainly produced by the blade impeller.

Il comprend une hélice à lames qui est montée dans une calotte de granulation traversée par un flux de liquide. Cette hélice à lames se présente sous la forme d'un dispositif faisant avancer le flux de liquide. Lors de la mise en oeuvre du procédé de granulation, le flux de liquide est, au plus tard après la terminaison d'une phase de démarrage, produit au moins principalement par l'hélice à lames.
