A device for use with a retrievable bridge plug (30) comprising an upper packer element (3) and a lower packer element (11). The upper packer element (3) is connected to an upper chain (6), which can rotate around a first pin (5). Upper chain (6) is rotatably connected to a lower chain (8) by a second pin (7). Lower chain (8) can rotate around a third pin (9). An angle (.alpha.) is formed between the longitudinal axis of the bridge plug and a line extending through the first pin (5) and the second pin (7), and correspondingly through the second pin (7) and the third pin (9), which is greater than zero when upper chain (6) and lower chain (8) is drawn. Upper chain (6) and lower chain (8) are arranged for, at setting, to expand radially by compression of upper packer bracket (3) against lower packer bracket (12), for forming a mechanical barrier for upper packer element (3) and lower packer element (11).

L'invention concerne un dispositif à utiliser avec un bouchon provisoire (30) comprenant un packer supérieur (3) et un packer inférieur (11). Le packer supérieur (3) est relié à une chaîne supérieure (6) qui peut tourner autour d'une première broche (5). La chaîne supérieure (6) est reliés rotative à une chaîne inférieure (8) par une deuxième broche (7). La chaîne inférieure (8) peut tourner autour d'une troisième broche (9). Un angle (.alpha.) est formé entre l'axe longitudinal du bouchon provisoire et une ligne s'étendant dans la première (5) et la deuxième broche (7), et de ce fait dans la deuxième (7) et la troisième broche (9), ledit angle étant supérieur à zéro lorsque les chaînes supérieure (6) et inférieure (8) sont tirées.
