A device with a pyrotechnic gas generator wherein gas pressurizes a hydraulic circuit via a cartridge-case base, a spring and a pressure piston. The pyrotechnic gas generator comprises a propellant charge, which is located in a combustion chamber (4) and is ignited by an electronic igniting unit. The parts of the device are contained in a housing, which is exchangeably inserted into a wall surrounding the hydraulic circuit.
