13 ABSTRACT: The invention relates to a device for a vibra- tion apparatus, in particular a small apparatus such as a shaver which is driven by a single-phase synchronous motor whose shaft carries at least one cam which cooperates resiliently with pressure means. A first lever arm of a lever which comprises at least two arms and which is pivot- able about a pivot situated between the arms carries a pressure roller. The second lever arm sets the part to be driven into vibration. The first and the second lever arm make an angle .epsilon. with each other. A compression spring urges the pressure roller towards the cam. Alternatively, the device can operate with a single-arm lever.
