Actuation system for two mobile cowls of a thrust reverser, and thrust reverser equipped with such a system . This actuation system that has two mobile cowls (2) of a thrust reverser includes, for each cowl (2), a central actuator (6a) and two additional actuators (6b). The system also includes a motor (7) and flexible drive shafts (8a, 8b) located between the electric motor (7) and the central actuators (6a) as well as between each central actuator (6a) and its two additional associated actuators (6b). Because of this specific layout, the failure of a flexible drive shaft between two actuators associated with a same cowl allows the two of the three actuators to continue operating, and thus does not call into question the possibility of activating the cowl.

Système d'actionnement de deux capots mobiles d'un inverseur de poussée, et inverseur de poussée équipé d'un tel système. Ce système d'actionnement de deux capots mobiles (2) d'un inverseur de poussée comprend, pour chaque capot (2), un vérin central (6a) et deux vérins additionnels (6b). Le système comprend également un moteur (7), et des arbres de transmission flexibles (8a, 8b), disposés d'une part entre ledit moteur (7) électrique et lesdits vérins centraux (6a), et d'autre part entre chaque vérin central (6a) et ses deux vérins additionnels associés (6b). Grâce à cet agencement particulier, la rupture d'un arbre de transmission flexible entre deux vérins associés à un même capot permet à deux vérins sur trois de continuer à fonctionner, et ne remet donc pas en question la possibilité d'actionner ce capot.
