ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for time-saving and technically low-cost adjustment of contact between rollers of a printing mechanism of a rotary printing press which are adjustable relative to one another with respect to their distance. The device includes an optical device that has a transmitter and a receiver which are positioned opposite one another on either side of the roller gap. Additionally, the receiver is connected with a display device.
