ABSTRACT The aligning device includes upper straightening appliances (1) consisting of a row of pivoting levers (17) equipped with rollers (36) on a vertical plane, these levers being permanently fixed on supports (16) pivoting on a horizontal plane under the action of a corner piece (40) shiftable by means of knurled knobs (47 and 48) along the threaded rods (43 and 44), the said corner piece (40) being connected with the supports (16) by a flexible device fitted on one of the ends of an axle (29) designed for holding the pivoting levers (17). The lower straightening appliances (2) consists of an endless belt (52) driven and supported by the rollers (54) arranged on the axis of the rollers (36) of the pivoting levers (17). The shifting motion of the supports (16) on the horizontal plane results in the aligning of the box blanks along a lengthwise aligning rail. The present device is usable on folder-gluers designed for manufacturing folding boxes.
