The present invention relates to an apparatus for laying a material sheet on a number of cylindrical bodies, for example sleeves of paperboard or the like, which are employed within, int.al. the papermaking industry for winding a manufactured paper web, sheet web or the like, a conveyor being disposed to advance the cylindrical bodies in the longitudinal direction thereof to, past and away from a unit for supplying a material web to the bodies, and the conveyor being divided into at least two sections, of which the one is disposed to displace the cylindrical bodies in their longitudinal direction up to connection with the end of the preceding body, and of which the second section is disposed to positively rotate the cylindrical bodies about their longitudinal axis and displace the cylindrical bodies in the direction of their longitudinal axis during application of the material web, with the desired spacing between the edges of the applied material web.
L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant d'appliquer une feuille de matière sur un certain nombre de corps cylindriques, par exemple, des manchons de carton ou équivalent, qui sont utilisés notamment dans l'industrie du papier pour enrouler une bande de papier, une feuille continue ou équivalent, un transporteur permettant d'avancer les corps cylindriques dans leur sens longitudinal en les faisant passer devant une unité d'alimentation de ces corps en bande de matière. Ce transporteur est divisé en au moins deux sections, l'une permettant de déplacer les corps cylindriques dans leur direction longitudinale et les amener en contact avec l'extrémité du corps précédent, et la deuxième section permettant de tourner positivement les corps cylindriques autour de leur axe longitudinal et de les déplacer dans la direction de leur axe longitudinal pendant l'application de la bande de matière, avec la distance souhaité entre les bords de la bande de matière appliquée.
