DEVICE FOR ATTACHING A CLOTH Abstract of the Disclosure A device for holding a flexible sheet includes a holding member with a longitudinal slot which receives two elongate locking members. One locking member has the edge portion of the sheet folded around it, and is inserted into the base of the slot, and the second locking member is then placed into the slot with both layers of the folded over sheet held between the second member and one wall of the slot, and extending out of the slot. Tension on the layer of the folded over sheet which passes between the two locking members tends to release the sheet from the slot, whereas tension on the other layer of the folded over sheet tends to lock the sheet in the slot. The advance in the art is in that the sheet can be easily removed from the holder by pulling one of the layers, while a pull in the same direction on the other layer results in a firm locking of the sheet in the holder.
